Thump.

The sound of object bumping object was starting to become a like a rythmical music to Ea. She sat on a small stack of books, her skirt flattened out on her lap as she sorted through them, the books themselves floating in the air in front of her. It was quite an easy task for her, something as simple as sorting through books, but if she went about it normally, it would take her forever; so she did it this way. As she noted each book's place and moved to the next, each book was placed in its place on the shelves around her as another book rose from the ever decreasing stack, readying itself behind a couple others in the air as she continued. It was mindless work, though certainly time consuming. She'd already gone through a few hundred books, the shelves all lined with them. She remembered where each book was, and what exactly it was, too; something that seemed to be hard for most others people she'd met.

She loosened the tie around her neck and leaned back on the stack of books to rest against the shelf behind her, straightening out her skirt and straightening her skirt out unconciously. She wasn't used to wearing a uniform, much less one with something such as a skirt; she was used to wearing shorts or sweatpants to school. Wearing a skirt made her feel weird, vulnerable; so she had taken on the task of helping organize the library for the year to come. It was something to get her away from the mass of students that had conglomerated in most of the halls and dormitories, and allowed her after a few days without reprieve a little time to relax. She raised her hand and a book floated in front of her, flying away to its place in the shelf with a flick of her wrist as she drew another up for inspection.

Ea stretched lightly, covering her mouth slightly as she yawned. "Mmm..."

Well this could be going a lot better. The tension and fear coming off the girl spiked and he knew his pupils were widening because his vision became crystal clear and vivid, his mind focusing and refocusing on certain things. The way her leg muscles twitched, hardly noticeable to a human eye but obvious to him, in the way that meant they were about to fail. Or how her eyelids fluttered slightly and her pupils shifted to signal she was off balance. Those among many other things made every muscle in his own body tense and when she inevitably went down, somehow he was crouched beside her before his mind registered that he’d moved.

“Easy now, cub, I ain’t gon’ hurt ya. You safe from me, yeah?” He kept his voice low and soft as possible, despite its current deep growling tone, so as not to startle her any further than she already was. His concern caused that Bajan accent to worm its way into his speech, “I gon’ take ya to de chair behind de desk now, cub.”

As gently as he’d held his baby brothers for the first time, he slid one arm under her knees and the other around her back and lifted her easily. It’d be just his luck if the Headmaster wandered his way in right now but hopefully he was busy with that handful of assistant he had. Tsuinoshu moved the plush desk chair with his foot and set her down carefully, crouching in front of her and lifting her face up via a finger under her chin.

“C’mon, cub, snap out of it.”

She heard Tsui, though his voice sound distant, like she was being spoken to from the top of a well, even though she knew he was right there, she was looking almost directly at him, after all. It had been quite a while since she'd had such a fit; so long perhaps that she could hardly remember when... when she was seven or eight, maybe? They had repeatedly occurred when she her power came over her to strong and overwhelmed her, or if she had gotten scared.

She could tell that she was moving, but she couldn't even tell how, or where she was going. In the beginning, she would've started hyperventilating and almost pass out immediately from pure panic. However, even with such a large gap, she could still remember her father's instructions.

"Breath easy, now."

With slow, measured breaths her focus started to come back. Her sense of touch regained itself as she was set down. She immediately leaned back slightly and felt her back press against a cushion, even as she let her hands rest on the arms, gripping them gently. Next, her hearing came back into focus, just leaving her vision swimming. She closed her eyes, still measuring her breaths, though now she was near recovered. "S...sorry..."

A head full of thick, tousled black hair tilted just slightly. Concerned as he was for this wisp of a student, Tsuinoshu did find humor in the whole situation. It was just so fitting with the rest of his life that this week had happened. Fate had to have been someone he'd dated back in the day, because they were sure having fun shoving him in these situations. How special. At least he was important to someone, he supposed.

"Do'an worry 'bout sorry. Es no fault o' you own, cub." He lifted her chin a bit more to check on her pupils before releasing her, "Look a' me, girl. I gotta make sure you ok. Canna have you dyin' up in de library."

After making sure she was going back to normal, she seemed like she was, he leaned back against the desk. Running a hand through his hair calmed him a little bit and taking a deep breath helped even more. He had been able to finish calming himself enough to not cause any issues. Though he did wish that the whole student collapsing thing hadn't taken place. Either way, it was what it was.

"Sorry about that, kid. I get glitchy when I'm tired. I'm not gonna hurt you, ok? Just take it easy for a bit."
