Problems and Complaints
If an individual has an OOC problem with someone on the site, do not post about it in IC topics. Do not make a ruckus in the chatbox. There will be consequences for doing either of these things.
If you are unable to resolve it peacefully or satisfactorily via PM, which is how you will discuss it (and it better be civil), you will PM a Moderator. You will not PM multiple staff members about the same issue, you'll only PM one and then you will wait. You may PM a different Moderator if you have not gotten a reply within a week (7 days) of the date the PM was sent. -Please check the Absence forum to make sure that the Mod you are PMing is actually available. It's not our fault if you don't check, so be responsible so you can get your issue dealt with in a timely manner.-
Any threads that are depending upon an answer are automatically on hiatus from the date and time of your PM to the moderator so that no other time-based rules go into effect.
The template for a problem PM to the Moderator is as follows:
The other person will be informed that the situation has been brought to the Moderator, and they will be allowed to state their end of the matter.
The Moderator will deal with it OR they will inform an Administrator. The Administrator's decision is law. It may only be altered by a Head Administrator (Kryn Cluskio or The Hammer). Do not complain about the decision to the Moderator who made it. Just copy and paste both the template and the Moderators decision in ONE PM. State why you don't agree (be polite or be ignored) and ask for a reconsideration. You get to do this reconsideration request once. The second decision is the one you will be stuck with, whether it is better or worse in your opinion. So be careful what you ask for.
*If Admins hear anything about someone trying to resolve an issue with threats and coarse language in the CB, we will contact you about it. That will be a warning. If it happens too often, you will get a temporary ban, depending on the severity of the situation. You could get banned for two hours or two weeks, again, it depends on the severity. If it continues after the temp ban, we will ban you permanently.

The template for a problem PM to the Moderator is as follows:
- Code:
[b]Problem:[/b]
This is where you will state the issue you have very simply. You will not use this as an opportunity to insult or anything else. If you do, your plea may be ignored.
[b]Link:[/b]
If this is a problem with something that happened on a forum, link it here.
[b]Attempts to Solve:[/b]
This is where you will copy and paste the PM's in which you and the other party tried to resolve the issue. There better be something here or your plea may be ignored. We're not your babysitter, we're staff.
[b]Goal:[/b]
This is where you state what you want to happen. End result up to Moderator.
