Personality: 
Rei is a flighty character. She likes to explore and will often wander around, even at high risks. This shows her adventurous spirit, and she can be very brave and optimistic, looking on the bright side of most situations. Rei is sociable and easy to get a long with and sometimes really sweet, which makes her hard to anger or annoy so she can be pretty tolerable around people. Really the only things that really get on her nerves is bullying and animal cruelty. Rei is very loyal and hates having her trust betrayed. Once you do that Rei will become very wary around you. She is very defensive around her friends and will stand up for them if the situation deems it necessary. When she is mad (which is very rare), Rei can have a very sharp tongue. Her anger isn't really that bad, she will often just walk away after ranting and stay away from the source of her anger for a few minutes and then she'll act like nothing ever happened. Rei is really the type of person to forgive-and-forget.

Rei is rather multi-talented, having a taste mostly for music, but she also enjoys the arts and different forms of combat. She enjoys lounging in trees on a nice day and sometimes you will hear her sweet singing voice from an open window if she sings loud enough. She knows how to play at most three instruments (flute, violin, guitar) but her most prized possession among them is her guitar. She has a strong connection with animals and can sometimes be seen with birds in her tree spot. As said before, Rei dislikes bullies and not only animal cruelty, but most any form of cruelty. She values equality and fairness tries to act fairly. She may be brave, but most the only fear she has is of lightning. It scares her so much she will hide during a thunderstorm.

Her green eyes has central heterochromia, meaning she has a thin blue ring around her pupil. She usually has a henna tattoo on her left hip that she doesn't mid re-drawing. Rei often wears any kind of tanktop, shorts, and boots when out of school and still wears boots in school. Though she is skinny, Rei also possesses an athletic body.

Description: 
Her ability is basically the manipulation of plants, mostly vines. This is called botanokinesis and is her elemental ability. She is connected to plants and can therefore control plants with her mind and some hand movement. The plants can be used as defensive or offensive moves, shielding her, shooting out, or strangling opponents. The plants have a variety of uses such as binding, hiding, climbing, tying and can control flowers to trees. She can grow plants out of soil in tiny flower pots too just to give an idea of the range of plant growing she can do.

Drawbacks:
Of course, fire can burn the plants and in a fight, leave Rei open to attacks. Some plants can be easily destroyed by blunt force, cutting or tearing. She also has to be either on fertile ground or 5 feet away from land to be able to create and control plants. Being enclosed in concrete buildings can cut off her connection with the land keeping her from growing plants. She can't grow trees bigger than a pure oak tree but that can add a lot of strain on her, causing her endurance to decrease by two stat levels for 5 posts. She seems to have a harder time controlling her power when she is sad or angry. She may cause plants to wilt or have plants grow extensively and uncontrollably.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

History: 

Rei was born in France to a French-Irish mother and a Japanese father. Unbeknownst to her father, Rei's mother was actually a nymph from Ireland. Rei grew up in a middle class family, her father being a well-known geneticist who was trying to figure out how the creatures that appeared on earth and if geneticts had anything to do with it, being the rationalist that he was. He always tried to figure out how things were logically and even believed in the science behind a gifted person. When Rei's parents met, they kept their personal lives to themselves, not really bothering to share races or any abilities they may have, not even what jobs they had. They were like lovesick teenagers and didn't care what the other was at the time and therefore never bothered to ask.

When Rei was born, her parents were thrilled and they lived a pretty normal life. It wasn't until Rei was 7 that her powers started to appear. This was usually later than when most nymphs got their powers, but being a halfling that's just how it was. When this happened however, Rei's father was initially angry that her mother didn't say anything about her being a nymph. This problem was quickly resolved though. AS time went by, Rei's father seemd to be acting different. He actually considered at times performing experiments on Rei and her mother to supposedly "uncover the secrets of their existence". It was because of this that Rei's mother took her and left.

Rei's mother took her back to the Irish countryside, where Rei lived for the remainder of her years before being taken to Cluskia Academy. there her mother taught her how to control her powers up to an intermediate level, still not being able to control her powers in terms of emotion. Rei was 12 when her mother told her she was going to be taken to a school where she would be safe until she learned to fully control her powers to her extent. Rei was escorted safely by a man in a black suit to the school and has stayed there ever since.
